This Privacy Policy describes how WondersLab Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “WondersLab,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes the personal information that we collect through the digital or online properties or services that link to this Privacy Policy (where applicable, our website with https://wonderslab.kr/ as its home page, mobile applications, social media pages, marketing activities, and the other activities described in this Policy, collectively referred to hereinafter as the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that we process on behalf of our business customers in providing the WondersLab platform and services to them. The use of such information is governed by the contract between us and the relevant business customer. If you have any questions regarding personal information processed on behalf of a business customer, please contact that business customer.
Personal Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
The personal information that you may provide to us through the Service or otherwise is as follows:
- Contact data: First and last name, salutation, email address, billing and mailing addresses, job title and company name, and phone number
- Demographic data: City of residence, state or province, country, postal code, and age
- Profile data: The username and password that you set to establish an online account on the Service, and any other information that you add to your account profile
- Communications data: The content of communications exchanged with us, including when you contact us through the Service, social media, or otherwise
- User-generated content data: Photos, images, comments, questions, messages, prompts, works of authorship, and other content or information that you generate, transmit, include in documents, or otherwise make available on the Service, together with the associated metadata. Metadata includes information about how, when, where, and by whom a piece of content was collected and how that content has been formatted or edited. It also includes information that you can add, or can have added, to your content, such as keywords, geographical or location information, and other similar information.
- Marketing data: Details of your preferences regarding the receipt of our marketing communications and of your engagement with them
- Transactional data: Information relating to, or needed to complete, your orders on or through the Service, including order numbers and transaction history
- Payment data: Information needed to complete transactions, including payment card information or bank account numbers
- Other information: Information not specifically listed above that we use as described in this Privacy Policy or as separately disclosed at the time of collection
Third-Party Sources
We may combine the personal information we receive from you with personal information, falling within any of the categories listed above, that we obtain from other sources, such as the following:
- Public sources: Government agencies, public records, social media platforms, and other publicly available sources
- Data providers: Information service providers and data licensors
- Partners: Marketing partners, event co-hosts, and the like
- Third-party services: Social media services and similar services that you use to log in to, or to link, your Service account. Automatic Data Collection
We or our service providers may automatically record information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interactions over time with the Service, our communications, and other online services, such as the following:
- Device data: Your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, RAM and disk size, CPU usage, device type (e.g., phone, tablet), IP address, unique identifiers (including identifiers used for advertising purposes), language settings, mobile carrier, wireless and network information (e.g., Wi-Fi, LTE, 3G), and general location information at the city, state, or regional level
- Online activity data: Pages or screens you viewed, how long you stayed on a page or screen, the website you visited immediately before accessing the Service, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times and duration of access, and whether you have opened our emails or clicked links within them
- Precise geolocation/location data: Information collected only if you have permitted (our mobile application/Service) to access your device’s location information
- Communication interaction data: Your interactions with our emails or other communications (e.g., whether you open and forward emails). For this purpose, we may use pixel tags (also known as clear GIFs), which may be invisibly embedded in emails.
Data About Others
We may offer features that allow you to invite friends or acquaintances to the Service, and we may collect the invitees’ contact information in order to deliver the invitations. It is also possible for you to include information about third parties in your prompts or in the information you upload. If you have not obtained another person’s consent, please do not refer that person to us or provide us with that person’s contact information or personal information.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Some of the automatic collection described above is carried out through technologies such as the following:
- Cookies: Small text files that a website stores on your device, which allow web servers to record your web browsing activities and to remember your inputs, preferences, and login status while you use the site. The cookies used on our sites include all of the following: “session cookies,” which are deleted when the session ends; “persistent cookies,” which remain for a longer period; “first-party” cookies, which we place; and “third-party” cookies, which are placed by our third-party business partners and service providers.

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

- Personalizing the Service, such as by remembering the devices from which you have previously logged in and remembering your selections and preferences while you use the Service

Service Improvement and Analytics

Creation of Statistical, Pseudonymized, and Anonymized Information

We convert personal information into pseudonymized or anonymized information by removing the information that makes the data identifiable to you. We may use the statistical, pseudonymized, or anonymized information so created, and share it with third parties, for lawful business purposes, including analyzing and improving the Service and promoting our business.
Use Based on Your Consent
In certain cases, such as where required by law, we may separately request your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information.

In addition to the other uses described in this section, we may use the cookies and similar technologies described above for the following purposes:
- Technical operation: To enable the technical operation of the Service, such as remembering your selections and preferences while you use the site

Our Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information to the following parties as described in this Privacy Policy, in other notices, or at the time of collection.
Affiliates. Our parent company, subsidiaries, and affiliates.
Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf or assist us in operating the Service or our business (such as hosting, information technology, customer support, online chat functionality, email delivery, marketing, consumer research, and website analytics).
Third parties designated by you. Where you direct us to do so or consent to it, we may disclose your personal information to the third parties you designate.
Partners. We may disclose your personal information to our business partners in order to provide products or services that you have requested.
Artificial intelligence partners. We work with OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, and Anthropic, the developer of Claude, to provide enhanced document editing features. In doing so, we may disclose to them the user-generated information that you include in your prompts and documents, for the purpose of generating content and providing enhanced editing features. OpenAI may use such data in accordance with its privacy policy (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy), and Anthropic may use such data in accordance with its privacy policy (https://console.anthropic.com/legal/privacy).
Professional advisors. Professionals such as lawyers, auditors, banks, and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services they provide to us.
Authorities and others. Law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and private parties, where we determine in good faith that such disclosure is necessary or appropriate for the purposes described in “Compliance and Protection” above.
Business transferees. We may disclose personal information in connection with an actual or potential transaction (e.g., an investment in WondersLab, a financing, an initial public offering, or the sale, transfer, or merger of all or part of our business, assets, or shares); for example, we may need to disclose certain personal information to potential counterparties and their advisors. We may also disclose your personal information to an acquirer, successor, or assignee of WondersLab as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, and/or in the event of the commencement of insolvency, bankruptcy, or rehabilitation proceedings in which personal information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets.
Your Choices
Access to and correction of information. If you have registered an account with us through the Service, you may review and modify certain account information after logging in.
Opting out of marketing communications. You may opt out of receiving marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email or by contacting us. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing-related emails, you may continue to receive Service-related and other non-marketing emails.
Cookies and other technologies. Most browsers allow you to delete or reject cookies. To do so, please follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to block cookies, the Service may not function properly. - Browser settings. Changing your internet browser settings to block third-party cookies
- Privacy browsers and plug-ins. Using privacy browsers or ad-blocking browser plug-ins that can block tracking technologies
- Mobile settings. Using your mobile device settings to limit the use of the advertising ID for interest-based advertising purposes
You will need to apply these settings separately on each device and browser on which you wish to limit the use of information for interest-based advertising.
Declining to provide information. We may need to collect personal information in order to provide certain services. If you do not provide information that we have indicated as required, we may not be able to provide those services.

The Service may contain links to websites, mobile applications, and other online services operated by third parties. In addition, our content may be embedded in web pages or online services that are not affiliated with us. Such links and embedding do not mean that we endorse, or are affiliated with, the relevant third parties. We do not control websites, mobile applications, or online services operated by third parties, and we are not responsible for their actions. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites, mobile applications, and online services that you use.
Security Measures
We implement a number of technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect the personal information we collect. However, because security risks are inherent in all internet and information technologies, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
Cross-Border Transfers
We are headquartered in the Republic of Korea and may use service providers that operate in other countries. Your personal information may be transferred to the Republic of Korea or to other locations where the laws may not protect personal information to the same extent as the laws of your state, province, or country.
Children’s Personal Information
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or legal representative and believe that we have collected a child’s personal information in violation of applicable law, please contact us. If we learn that we have collected a child’s personal information through the Service without the consent of a parent or legal representative that is required by law, we will destroy that information in accordance with applicable law.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on the Service, or by other appropriate means. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will take effect when the modified Privacy Policy is posted (or at such other time as indicated at the time of posting). In all cases, your use of the Service after the effective date of the modified Privacy Policy signifies your acknowledgment that the modified Privacy Policy applies to your interactions with our business.
